On arrival Gwalior railway station /airport, transfer to hotel.

Check in to your hotel. Later proceed to sightseeing Medieval temples, mosques and palaces of Gwalior.

SIGHTSEEING : Gujari Mahal

The Gujari Mahal Archeological Museum or State Archaeological Museum, sometimes called the "Gwalior Fort Museum", is a state museum in Gwalior, located in the fortress of Gujari Mahal. It displays numerous artifacts of the region, including a fragment of the Garuda capital of the Heliodorus pillar from Vidisha. The palace of Gujari Mahal was built by Raja Man Singh Tomar for his wife Mrignayani, a Gujar princess. She demanded a separate palace for herself with a regular water supply through an aqueduct from the nearby Rai River. The palace has been converted into an archaeological museum.

SIGHTSEEING : Gwalior Fort

Gwalior Fort (Hindi: ग्वालियर क़िला Gwalior Qilais a hill fort near Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, central India. The fort has existed at least since the 10th century, and the inions and monuments found within what is now the fort campus indicate that it may have existed as early as the beginning of the 6th century. The fort has been controlled by a number of different rulers in its history. The present-day fort consists of a defensive structure and two main palaces, Gujari Mahal and Man Mandir, built by Man Singh Tomar (reigned 1486-1516 CE). The Gujari Mahal palace was built for Queen Mrignayani. It is now an archaeological museum. The second oldest record of "zero" in the world was found in a small temple, which is located on the way to the top. The inion is around 1500 years old.

SIGHTSEEING : Man Mandir Palace

Man Mandir Palace is a palace of great historical significance. It is a witness to many heartfelt stories of mindless power. It is a good example of medieval architecture, mixed with Hindu architecture. It is a four-storied building with two floors built underground. It has a circular shape.

SIGHTSEEING : Teli-ka-Mandir

Teli ka Mandir, also known as Telika Temple, is a Hindu temple located within the Gwalior Fort in Madhya Pradesh, India. Dedicated to Vishnu, Shiva and Matrikas, it has been variously dated between the early 8th and early 9th century CE. It is an unusual Hindu temple, as it has a rectangular sanctum instead of the typical square. It integrates the architectural elements of the Nagara style and the Valabhi prasada that looks like the Dravidian wagon-vault topped gopuram superstructure. The temple is based on a Pratihara-Gopagiri style North Indian architecture.

SIGHTSEEING : Karera Bird Sanctuary

The Karera Bird Sanctuary is situated in Madhya Pradesh and is home to numerous birds and animals. It is about 55 km from the city of Shivpuri and is renowned as the natural habitat of the Indian bustard. There are three main types of bustards living in the sanctuary, namely the coloured bustard, Indian bustard and bearded bustard.

SIGHTSEEING : Chhatri

The Chhatri is one of the famous monuments that shows a fine blend of both Mughal as well as Hindu culture. The Hindu-Islamic fusion is so much that there is a Mughal garden in the backyard that has the royal tombs of the Scindias. These tombs are surrounded by huge trees, green orchards and verdant bushes reflecting the Mughal styles of architecture.

Day 3
Shivpuri- Chanderi- Orchha

Early morning safari to Madhav National Park. Later after breakfast local sightseeing Madhav Vilas Palace,

Sakhya Sagar Boat Club, Bhadaiya Kund.

Afternoon drive to Orrcha enroute visit Chanderi, surrounded by hills, lakes and forests, and there are several monuments of Bundela Rajputs and Malwa Sultans.

SIGHTSEEING : Madhav National Park

Madhav National Park is situated in Shivpuri District of Gwalior division in northwest Madhya Pradesh, India. It was named after Madho Rao Scindia, the Maharaja of Gwalior belonging to the Scindia dynasty of the Marathas. The park offers amazing views of lush greenery and architectural wonders, edified by the erstwhile rulers of Gwalior. This park has witnessed a lot of royal movement’s right from the time of Akbar, who is believed to have captured elephants from here in 1564.

SIGHTSEEING : Madhav Vilas Palace

Madhav Vilas Palace is a Historical milestone in Shivpuri, India. Madhav Vilas Palace, conversationally known as the "Royal residence" in the midst of local people, is glory represented. Lovely turrets, ious patios and flawless marble floors make the royal residence genuinely brilliant even by the present models. The outside of the royal residence has a dusty-rose shading that separates the royal residence from its encompassing.

SIGHTSEEING : Bhadaiya Kund

Bhadaiya Kund is a natural spring, known for high mineral content. Several tourists visit this picnic spot near Shivpuri, especially during the monsoon season.

SIGHTSEEING : Bundela Rajputs

Bundela Rajput Rudra Pratap Singh in the 16th century, Orchha lies just 16 kilometers away from Jhansi on Jhansi-Tikamgarh highway. It is famous for its beautiful fort complex located on an island in Betwa river housing many palaces, havelis and buildings built during the 16th and 18th century and also for its wonderful temples Ram Raja, Chaturbhuj, Laxminarayan and Royal Chhatris.

SIGHTSEEING : Malwa Sultan

The Malwa Sultanate was a late medieval empire of Islamic origin in the Malwa region, covering the present day Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and south-eastern Rajasthan from 1392 to 1562.

Orchha To Khajuraho

After breakfast visit Orchha local sightseeing places including Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxminarayan Temple.

In the afternoon drive to Khajuraho.

SIGHTSEEING : Laxminarayan Temple

This mix of a temple and fort is a geometrical wonder with an octagonal central tower residing within a triangular temple and housed in a square compound. Its ceilings and walls depict stories of mythology, history and warfare. The temple is an architect’s delight and the temple may appear rectangular from the outside but is a perfect triangle within.

SIGHTSEEING : Chaturbhuj Temple

Chaturbhuj Temple in Orchha is one of the most fabulous and ancient architectural marvels of the time in the town. It was built by king Madhukar in between the years 1558 and 1573. The temple houses an idol of Lord Vishnu with four arms but was originally meant for Lord Rama’s idol.

SIGHTSEEING : Ajaigarh Fort

Ajaigarh or Ajaygarh Fort is listed among the top attractions of the region. It stands alone on a hilltop in the district of Panna and is easily accessible from Khajuraho. The fort is bordered by beautiful Vindhya Hills and provides absolutely stunning views of the Ken River. This grand fort is noted for its rich historical past and architectural beauty, which speaks volumes about the Chandela dynasty.

Chandela dynasty, Khajuraho Temples are one of the most important specimens of the Indian art. These set of Hindu and Jain temples took around a hundred years to take shape. Originally a collection of 85 temples, the number has come down to 25.

The Khajuraho group of temples were built together but were dedicated to two religions, Hinduism and Jainism, suggesting a tradition of acceptance and respect for diverse religious views among Hindus and Jains in the region

This temple is a major tourist attraction in Khajuraho as it is one of the earliest stone temples in the whole of India. The Lakshmana temple in Khajuraho is one of the biggest temples in the town. The Lakshmana Temple is well-preserved.

SIGHTSEEING : Matangeshwar Temple

The Matangeshvara temple is a Shiva temple in the Khajuraho town of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is located among the Western group of temples. Among the Chandela-era monuments of Khajuraho, it is the only Hindu temple that is still actively used for worship.

SIGHTSEEING : Shantinatha Temple

Shantinatha temple is a Jain temple located among the Jain temple cluster in eastern Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, India. While its main deity is the Jain tirthankara Shantinatha, it includes 18 shrines with numerous Jain images. The temple has been classified as a Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological Survey of India. SIGHTSEEING : Vishwanath Temple

The Vishvanatha Temple is a Hindu temple in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is located among the western group of Khajuraho Monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple is dedicated to Shiva, who is also known as "Vishvanatha", meaning "Lord of the Universe". The temple is believed to have been commissioned by the Chandela king Dhanga, and was probably completed in 999 CE or 1002 CE. Its architectural style is similar to that of the older Lakshmana Temple and the newer Kandariya Mahadeva Temple.

SIGHTSEEING : Mahadev dhupgarh satpura

Mount Dhupgarh or Dhoopgarh is the highest point in the Mahadeo Hills, Madhya Pradesh, India. Located in Pachmarhi, it has an elevation of 1,352 metres.The top of the hill is a popular area to watch sunsets. Pachmarhi Hill station is located close to the peak.

SIGHTSEEING : Pandav Falls

The Pandav Falls is a waterfall in the Panna district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. About 30 metres high, it is located on a tributary of the Ken River, as it plunges over the falls to join it. Pandav Falls is located 12 kilometres from Panna and 35 kilometres from Khajuraho, close to Raneh Falls. The falls are named after the legendary Pandava brothers of the epic poem Mahabharata, who supposedly visited this area. Remains of caves and shrines that commemorate this legend can be seen around the pool below.

was the Gurukul of Maharishi Sandipani, where Lord Krishna acquired his education. SIGHTSEEING : Bada Ganpati

In Hindi, 'Bada' literally means big, and Ganpati is the pet name of elephant-faced god Lord Ganesha. This temple earns its name due to the size of Lord Ganesha's idol - at the height of about 25 feet from crown to foot, it is said to be one of the largest idols of the God in the world. The statue is made of a peculiar mixture of limestone, jaggery, bricks and sacred soil and water from the major pilgrim places in the country. Located at the end of a quiet lane in the city of Indore, the Bada Ganpati may be a modest-looking temple, but it holds significance simply based on the enormity of the Lord's statue.

Lal Bagh Palace is one of the most spectacular buildings in Indore. It stands on the outskirts of the town, towards the southwest. It is a three storey building on the bank of the River Khan. The palace was built by Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar during 1886-1921. Situated amidst dry and dusty gardens, it is architecturally quite similar to the New Palace. Lal Bagh Palace once hosted many royal receptions and even today, reflects the life style and taste of the Holkar Rulers.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.

  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).

Booking Term

  • 50 advance to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Air fair is calcualted at the time of proposal creation and is subject to change at the time of booking.
  • 100 payment is to be made for domestic packages before 4 days of departure date.
  • 100 payment is to be made for international packages before 7 days of departure date.
  • In case of cancellation standard cancellation policies will be applicable or may be changed as per the policies

  • 29 - 20 days before date of departure : 50% of total cost
