Anjuna beach, Goa is one of the more popular beaches in the Indian state. It is a beautiful stretch of coastline and is the site of a famous, flea market. Anjuna beach in Goa is located 8 kilometers to the west of Mapusa, North Goa. It is 18 kilometers away from Panaji and is located in Bardez taluka. The beach is 30 kilometers long and forms part of the Goa coastline bordering the Arabian Sea.

A fort

It is more popular with western tourists who love to use it as a base for water sports and fishing in the area.

Calangute is by far the most crowded and among beautiful beaches of the northern—it's an open expanse of white sand lying around with an entrance area packed with restaurants, stalls, and shops. The atmosphere remains festive during the peak season in winters, when dozens of sheds serving inexpensive mugs of beer, mixed cocktail drinks, and delicious seafood pop up on the beach. Beyond the beach there are some of the tourist’s favorite restaurants and shopping centers. You'll also catch hundreds of stalls, including roadside trinket shops, travel agencies, Oxford Bookstore branches and Café Coffee Day, ATMs and Malini Ramani's boutique, full with colorful designer clothes.

The Bom Jesus Basilica is Goa's most renowned church and among the most admired church by Christians worldwide, is partially in wrecks but still holds a model of simplicity and grace, and places a good example of Jesuit architecture. This is the only famous church of Old Goa, which is not coated on the outside, the lime plaster having been exposed off by a ardent Portuguese conservationist in 1950. Situated at Old Goa, 10 km east of Panaji, the Bom Jesus Basilica is a known World Heritage Monument. Bom Jesus' (literally, 'Good (or Holy) Jesus') is the name used for the Ecce Homo in the countries of Portuguese colonization. The Jesuit church is India’s first minor basilica, and is considered to be one of the best examples of baroque architecture in India.

Miramar Beach Situated only three km from Goa's capital, Panaji, Miramar shoreline is situated at the estuary of waterway Mandovi. The word Miramar is gotten from Portuguese word, which signifies 'seeing the ocean'. The shoreline is acclaimed for its brilliant delicate sand and palm trees. It is said that the sand of the shoreline looks brighter in moonlight. The two-km long shoreline is well known and local people and nonnatives visit the shoreline in expansive numbers. Located at the foothills of Kavlem village in Ponda district of Goa, the Shree Shantadurga temple is one of the popular pilgrimage centers. The temple is dedicated to Shree Shantadurga, the goddess of peace. Durga, who is often portrayed exuding fury and aggression, appears in a gentler form in Goa. Shanta, in Sanskrit, means peace. According to Hindu mythology, the goddess got her name after she settled a quarrel between Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. According to legend, the quarrel turned bitter and became so fierce that it threatened to destroy the entire universe. Fearing annihilation, Lord Brahma beseeched Goddess Parvati to interfere. Taking the form of Shantadurga, the goddess took Shiva by her left hand and Vishnu by her right and pacified the duo. The idol of the goddess is flanked by the statues of Shiva and Vishnu. The goddess holds serpents in each hand, representing Shiva and Vishnu.

Margao, about 7 km inside of the coast, is the famous town in South Goa. There you can explore lively market, and it's worth traveling for its shopping corners, but only if you are here for hanging out with friends for fun; there's no reason to stay here. There are some good places to visit like, make Colva or Benaulim your base, and here you can take benefit of beach side relaxing and the night out after your day out. Its outer boundaries include the villages of Loutolim and Chandor, which have attractive ancestral dwellings, some of which date from the early 1600s. The beaches of the south are far much better and relaxing than those of the north; people here are lack of partying mood, although there is added shack life in the south now than there used to be. While on your trip to South Goa you will find good number of resorts and hotels.

Dona Paula, named for a Portuguese romantic heroine popular in local folklore, is an affluent area at the mouth of the Zuari River known for its ocean views. Dona Paula View Point is a lookout and promenade, home to Baroness von Leistner’s 1969 “Image of India” statue. Quiet Dona Paula Beach offers water sports and souvenir shops. Restaurants offering western and Indian food.

Dudhsagar Falls (literally Sea of Milk ) is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the border of the Indian states of Karnataka and Goa. It is 60 km from Panaji by road and is located on the Madgaon-Belgaum rail route about 46 km east of Madgaon and 80 km south of Belgaum. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m(1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet).The falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park among the Western Ghats. The waterfall forms the border between Karnataka and Goa states. The area is surrounded by a deciduous forests with a rich bio diversity. The falls are not particularly spectacular during the dry season but during the monsoon season however, the falls are fed by rains and form a huge force of water.
